What To Expect At DSBC

Visiting any church for the very first time can be a difficult experience. Well, we want to put you at ease. Your first visit to Double Springs Baptist Church will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and at home. Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit.

Where Do I Go When I Arrive?

On Sunday morning, Sunday evening and Wednesday evening we meet in the sanctuary. You can enter through the brown doors at the front of the church. Sunday morning Bible study is held in the Joe Don Watts building next to the cemetery. Just follow the step up to the doors near the back.

What Time Are Your Services?

We offer 3 services on Sunday. Beginning at 9:30 am, we have an adult Sunday school class. Right after Sunday school, we have our main worship service at 10:30 am. On Sunday night we have our evening service at 6:00 pm. Our midweek prayer meeting is on Wednesday at 6:30 pm.

Is There a Dress Code?

There is not a dress code at DSBC for those attending. Our ministry leaders and some of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, a number of others wear normal, comfortable, casual clothes. Our main goal is that you feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here!

Do You Provide Child Care?

The children and youth of Double Springs Baptist Church are a high priority, so you can be at ease knowing they are in a safe and loving environment. Children can sit with their parents for the first 10 minutes of service. After the music, they will be escorted out by an adult to their class where they will learn the word of God and experience His love through music, games and Bible lessons.

Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?

No. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
