Church Near Me

Thank You For Visiting DSBC

If this is your first time here, welcome. We are glad you found our website. If you are looking for a new church or your first church, we invite you to come and visit us. Double Spring Baptist Church is a small church with a rich history. It’s one of the oldest churches in Tennessee, dating back to 1780. Although we are a small church, you will find the people here very kind and welcoming. It’s a great place to hear God’s word faithfully preached and fellowship with other believers. We hope that you will consider joining us for worship. We would love to have you.

FAQ

No, you do not have to bring anything with you, but if you have a Bible we encourage you to bring it. We use the King James Bible. If you do not have a Bible, please contact the church and we will get you one.

For the Wednesday night and the main Sunday morning service, you can enter through the brown doors at the front of the church. Sunday morning Bible study is held in the Joe Don Watts building outside of the church. Just follow the step up to the doors near the back.

We offer 3 services on Sunday. At 9:30 am we have an adult Sunday School class. At 10:30 we have our Main Worship Service. We also have an Evening Service at 6:00 pm. Our midweek prayer meetings are on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm.0

There is no dress code at DSBC for those attending. Our ministry leaders and some of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, a number of others wear normal, comfortable, casual clothes. Our main goal is that you feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here!

The children and youth of Double Springs Baptist Church are a high priority, so you can be at ease knowing they are in a safe and loving environment. Children can sit with their parents for the first 10 minutes of service. After the music, they will be escorted out by an adult to their class where they will learn the word of God and experience His love through music, games and Bible lessons.

No. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
